Halfway Hoop

Clem is working on his second hoop trick. It's a difficult one, but he's halfway there.

Hoop trick2

This trick presents multiple challenges:

1) The hoop openings are made smaller by their offset heights.
2) The hoop openings no longer face me. (Clem naturally tends to swim toward me, since I am the treat fountain!)
3) He must maneuver skillfully in the water in order to complete the up-down-up-down pattern.

We've had to try several setups for the hoops and base, but Clem seems comfortable with our current design. At this point he is working with just two hoops with offset heights. He's up to about a 70-75% success rate. Once he reliably hits 80%, we'll add a third hoop.
